Homme Style Issue 05 Preview

Homme Style‘s Winter 2012 issue promises a fashionable escape filled with fantasies and dreams.

The issue presents a cast of top models such as Tony Ward, Allen Taylor, Seth Kuhlmann, Frederik Ruegger and Arron Sly shot by creatives including Tom Van Dorpe, Dimitris Theocharis and Jeremy Kost.

“We all obsess on escaping whether through healthy pursuits, sexual escapades, trips to deserted beaches or virtual escape by slipping down the digital rabbit hole of the internet. Escape means a different thing to each of us. I see Homme Style as a platform for rising stars, youthful energy and a ‘who is next’ of this generation. We also offer reverence to our fashion legends.

As we began work on the issue the three words that loomed large were “discipline, fetishism, and senses”.   In the front of book we explore these words as they relate to a parade of interesting talents in the fashion and publishing worlds, some new and some veterans. In the fashion section each and every shoot was executed in a strictly disciplined fashion based on my orders and mood Boards which were delivered to our hard-working creative teams. Several shoots were even redone due to the occasional stained cuff or a hair out of place.
