Burberry Prorsum Womens AW14
Burberry Prorsum introduced its very own set of Bloomsbury Girls at its Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalk show during London Fashion Week yesterday.
Models including Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell, Suki Waterhouse, Neelam Johal and Malaika Firth walked the runway wrapped-up in personalised ponchos, and hand-painted trench coats, dresses and scarves that gave the collection a certain nomadic aesthetic.
The painterly collection takes inspiration from the British decorative art of the Bloomsbury set and Charleston, the country home and meeting place for the creatives that formed the group.
Looking-on was a celebrity packed front row that included Bradley Cooper, Tinie Tempah, Harry Styles, Jamie Campbell and Naomie Harris who, along with the other guests and thousands watching online, were treated to live performances by Paloma Faith, Ed Harcourt and Rhodes.
Key ready-to-wear pieces from the collection are already available to purchase online at burberry.com including personalised ponchos, accessories and the AW14 Burberry Nails collection.
