Dolce & Gabbana Fifth Avenue Flagship Opening

Dolce & Gabbana played host to the launch of their new boutique on 5th Avenue, New York with a cocktail reception hosted by Giovanna Battaglia.

Guests that included the very loyal Kylie Minogue, Chloe Sevigny, Gisele Bundchen, Stephanie Seymour, the stunning Harry & Peter Brant (watch that space), and media demi-king Derek Blasberg, were treated to traditional Italian hospitality within the space that spans 3 floors.

Highlight of the evening was an exceptional performance offered by renowned Metropolitan Opera Tenor Matthew Polenzani and the Soprano Ellie Dehn. Polenzani and Dehn, who were joined by a pianist, two violinists, a violist and a cellist moved the guests thanks to the most famous Italian Arias that were sung throughout the evening and that included La donna e’ mobile (Rigoletto), Nessun Dorma (Turandot), Casta diva (La Norma), Una furtiva lagrima(L’Elisir d’amore), Brindisi (La Traviata) and the classic ‘O sole mio.
