Fashion Fringe Road Show 2012
Fashion Fringe embarks on its first-ever road show next month, travelling to fashion colleges in major cities across the UK.
Starting on 12th March at the University of Edinburgh, Founder and Creative Director Colin McDowell will hold intimate lectures with renowned designers that have graduated from each college.
The line-up is as follows:
12th March | University of Edinburgh with Christopher Kane
13th March | Northumbria University with Gareth Pugh
14th March | Manchester Metropolitan University with Matthew Williamson
15th March | Nottingham Trent University with Giles Deacon
19th March | University of Brighton with Julien MacDonald
20th March | Royal College of Art with Erdem
Fashion Fringe is also inviting young fashion professionals from each region to join the line-up of speakers offering advice to students and insight on their own personal experiences.
“In recognising that not all fashion industry professionals and students can be based in London, we hope that our tour of the country will help to further connect the UK regions with the London fashion scene. Fashion Fringe designers come to us from a huge range of countries and we want to ensure this level of diversity is reflected within our own borders as well.” – Colin McDowell.
Discussions are free to students with limited tickets available for members of the public. For more info visit fashionfringe.co.uk.
