H&M Design Award – Ximon Lee
Ximon Lee, a graduate of Parsons School of Design, becomes the first menswear designer to win the H&M Design Award.
Lee’s eight-piece unisex collection for H&M includes pleated wide-leg shorts, navy leggings, a denim jacket and white shirts designed to be worn by men and women.
“I am thrilled with Ximon’s collection for H&M. His bonded fabrics and structured shapes are really exciting, and show exactly why Ximon won the H&M Design Award,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M.
Lee also received a prize fund of €50,000 and is in the process of launching his own label.
H&M x Ximon Lee prices range from £59.99 to £199.99. The collection will be available in selected H&M stores and online at hm.com from 22nd October 2015.
