Matches Fashion x Y-3 Capsule Collection
Sportswear label Y-3 teams-up with luxury shopping destination MatchesFashion.com to launch an exclusive limited edition capsule collection.
The all-black three piece collection (a t-shirt, tote bag and poncho) launches ahead of the brand’s Paris Men’s Fashion Week and features ink drawings by Yohji Yamamoto that will feature during the SS16 catwalk show.
‘For this collection, I wanted Y-3 to be energetic again. I said to the Y-3 team, “It’s time to change. It’s time to show movement”. We talked about sport and sports clothing while I was sketching the collection – and eventually I began painting myself – in motion.’ – Yohji Yamamoto
