MUGLER AW11 Campaign
MUGLER launches its campaign for Autumn 2011 starring the iconic face of the brand Rick Genest shot by Mariano Vivanco, styled by creative director Nicola Formichetti.
Mariano worked closely with agency Happy Finish who retouched the campaign that has captured the attention of the fashion industry worldwide.
Campaign star Rick Genest, popularly known as “Zombie Boy”, also walked in the MUGLER show in Paris earlier this month. Rick who is covered head to foot in anatomical tattoos featuring bones and muscle structures provided retoucher, Chris Roome with an unusual beauty retouch. “To be a good retoucher it is useful to have a good understanding of the human physique, however this is a first to retouch skin that represents the anatomical form!”
These stunning black and white images are running as part of a larger campaign that include an online video launch featuring an exclusive new track from Lady Gaga’s new Album ‘Born this Way’ due out in May. Gaga can also be seen wearing Mugler clothing for latest cover of Billboard, also retouched by Chris Roome at Happy Finish.
