Orchid x London College of Fashion
To mark Male Cancer Awareness Week, running from today to 29th April 2012, Orchid has collaborated with London College of Fashion and Raging Bull to create a limited edition t-shirt.
Students on the BA Fashion Illustration course at LCF were invited to create a t-shirt design to raise awareness of testicular cancer. The winning student Sasha Helim was selected by a panel of judges that included Harold Tillman (BFC), Dylan Jones (GQ), Adrian Clark (Shortlist) and Millie Clode (Sky Sports).
Rebecca Porta, Chief Executive of Orchid, says: “Every year over 37,000 men are diagnosed with a male cancer. Raising awareness is vital and we are thrilled to be partnering with London College of Fashion and Raging Bull for the second year running to produce this creatively powerful T-shirt that we believe will reach new audiences, encouraging greater awareness of male-specific cancer and raise funds for the charity.”
The Orchid charity t-shirts (£27) are available at key House of Fraser store nationwide and online at houseoffraser.co.uk or orchid-cancer.org.uk. All the profits from sales will be donated to charity.
