Pradasphere at Harrods
The Italian fashion house is transforming the stores forth floor into its very own exhibition showcasing heritage items from the archives, shoes and bags from past collections, a run-down of the brand’s history and a special screening room showing its past fashion films.
In addition to the Pradasphere, Harrods will dedicate over forty of its prime window displays to video installations and highlights from the exclusive capsule collection.
Designer/Curator Michael Rock adds, “Pradasphere is a portrait of one of our generation’s most creative minds. The exhibition presents, through a collection of remarkable objects, the way Miuccia Prada’s vision is made manifest in everything she touches. Pradasphere demonstrates that Prada is not so much a brand in the traditional sense of the word, but one extraordinary individual’s way of thinking, way of making, and way of looking at the contemporary world.”
