Ralph Lauren knows how to create an immersive digital experience… remember their 4D Bond Street store launch!?
On Monday they were at it again when they brought Manhattan’s Central Park to a standstill with a revolutionary catwalk event as part of New York Fashion Week, fusing fashion, art and technology.
The women’s SS15 collection was brought to life using a 4-storey holographic water-screen projection. Models towered above the hundreds of spectators emerging from New York landmarks including the Brooklyn Bridge.
“I really wanted to do something big for the new Polo Women’s brand – something set in the city – that felt modern. We returned to Central Park, a place I love, and captured the spirit of Polo with a truly innovative mix of fashion and technology,” said Ralph Lauren.
The event also marked the grand opening of the Polo flagship store on Fifth Avenue.
