British Fashion Award Winners 2012
The British Fashion Council today announced the winners of the British Fashion Awards presented to the leading figures in fashion, recognising creative talent and design excellence across all areas of the industry.
Stella McCartney recieved the highest honour of being named Designer of the year, plus the Designer Brand award on behalf of her label through her achievements in the fashion industry and contributions to Team GB in the Olympics.
Cara Delevingne picked up the model of the year award, while Kim Jones won the Menswear Designer for the second year running and Alexa Chung was voted as the British Style Award winner for the third time. The Accessory Designer award went to Nicholas Kirkwood in view of his iconic shoe designs, Erdem won the hotly competed New Establishment and Roksanda Ilincic picked up the Red Carpet Award.
Manolo Blahnik CBE picked up the Outstanding Achievement in Fashion award, Harold Tilman CBE won the Special Recognition award and the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator went to Louise Wilson OBE.
