Go With The Flaw – #Diesel Ad campaign
Diesel extend their campaign of acceptance with their latest film encouraging people to ‘Go With The Flaw’. We witness a colourful spectrum of beautifully diverse peeps, each with their own screen-worthy quirk. There are two releases in this wonderfully shot feature – we’ve opted for the version flavoured with Edith piaf”s vocal, the anthem – Non Regrette Rien as the trumpets swell perfectly with the gritty, rebellious models… reminding us all that being an ‘odd-ball’ or at least being limited by the negative idea of being one, is just a skin-shed away and that we’d do better to ditch our insecurities in trade for confidence.
This upbeat fist-bump reminds us of a
modern take on Steve Job’s Here’s To The Crazy Ones, both shotgun the message that confidence in who you are is what’s going help change the world. And the world starts with you.
Go with no plan.
Go with not sure.
Go with what makes you feel insecure.
Go with the snooze.
Go with your hair.
Go with that face that needs no repair.
Go with mistakes.
Go with remakes.
Go without knowing if you have what it takes.
Go with the tease.
Go with the game.
Go if no one remembers your name.
Go with the “oops”.
Go with no doubts.
Go if it doesn’t look as good as it sounds.
Go with the hunch.
Go with oh fuck.
Go like you’ll never run out of luck.
Go with the swipe.
Go with the fling.
Go without wanting to put on a ring
But go out in the open
And go with pride
Grab a front seat and enjoy the ride.
It’s a beautiful idea that we can all learn from. Now go buy some of their lovely jeans!
